  • New Wheel Holiday Store - Circus (here for 17 days):
    • For wheel holiday events, players collect from specified animals or fun buildings as usual, and the event currency is blue tickets and gold tickets, which can be used to buy spins on the blue and gold prize wheels in the circus store.
      • Both types of tickets can come from any of the items/families specified in the circus store, but blue are more common, gold more rare.
      • Families produce one ticket per family member; the Three-Ring Tent seems to provide the same number of tickets as its level; fun buildings produce one ticket.
    • Blue Wheel prizes (costs 10 blue tickets to spin):
    • Gold Wheel prizes (costs 5 gold tickets to spin):
    • Decorations and fun buildings will be removed from the wheel once you win it a certain number of times (about 10). These items only disappear for the duration of the holiday event, when the next one starts, they're put back on the wheel when the holiday event changes. Animals are removed once you have completed that family, either by winning or purchasing them in the Shop. When a prize is removed, in its place will be a prize of Acorns (amount varies. Players have received 2 and 10), Coins (amount varies. Players have received 10,000 and 50,000), or even gold tickets (amount varies. Players have received 2, 10).. Note that the probability of winning the remaining circus items does not appear to increase when others are replaced with these alternative prizes.
    • Circus animals come in a new Circus habitat.
  • 3-day holiday event: "Clowning Around" - collect tickets from Three-Ring Tent, Circus Cannon, Pirate Badger, Zebra, and Vulture.
    • New limited animal, Zebra, is on sale for 90 Acorns (25% off) in the Shop.
    • New limited fun building, Circus Cannon, is on sale for 60 Acorns (25% off) in the Shop.
    • Pirate Badger has been re-released in the Shop, and is on sale for 40 Acorns (50% off).

  • NOTE: If your Sloth family is in inventory, when you open the app, there will be a tutorial arrow pointing to Stuff. Click on that, but instead of going to Collections (where it will just stall out and you won't be able to click on anything), click on "Options" then go one click further into that menu and then exit out. The arrow will be gone and you will be able to play as normal. THEN go into your inventory and place your Sloth family in the village. Close out the app, open it up again, and the game will take you through the tutorial on leveling up animal families. That arrow taking you to Collections will continue showing up every time you start the game until you complete the tutorial. Note: one player reported that the Sloth family was not in their village or inventory - they eventually found the family in the Shop and had to buy all four members again.

  • Players gifted 5 Collect Frenzy tokens.
  • Maximum level raised to 148.
  • New 2-day coin collection-based Community Event. Personal prize: Schoolasaurus.
  • New "are you sure?" pop-up before finalizing any action that costs Acorns .
    • You will be asked this immediately when you click on an item in the store, but if it is one that is not purchased until placed (like holiday kits, fun stuff, decorations), you can still 'X' out of it and not purchase it as usual, even after saying 'yes' on the pop-up.
    • There's also a strange pop-up when you click to change habitats on animals that cost Acorns . It will ask if you are willing to pay basically the same amount as for a family member, but once you click 'yes' you're taken to the regular customization screen with the regular prices listed. Gameloft has said on their forum that it's merely a display bug - you will not lose any acorns just from accepting the pop-up, you'll only be charged (the regular listed price) once you actually select a habitat to change to.
  • Info about items provided in the Shop now reflects any VIP Program bonuses the player has.
  • New feature - animal families can be 'leveled up' to increase how much Experience ) they produce.
    • This feature is unlocked at level 18
    • The option only appears once a family is complete.
    • To level up a family, you must pay specific Coins prices for a set number of upgrades. For some animals (like the Sloth), it might only take one upgrade. But for acorn animals it takes more. For example, to get the Raccoon family to Level 2, you must upgrade it 10 times. (The amount of XP you earn from that family will increase every time you upgrade it).
    • Once you upgrade enough times to level up an animal, a timer will appear, and until it is complete you will not be able to collect from (or pay Acorns to rush) that family, although you can pay acorns to rush the timer on the leveling up process. The timers are longer on coin families than acorn ones, and the wait increases at the level increases. For example, leveling Raccoon to level 15 takes two days. Unlike hatching timers for babies, timers for leveling up will continue even if the family is placed in inventory.
    • Once families are leveled up, there are (what seem to be permanent) fireworks animations around them.
    • Related to this feature, the background of the icon that pops up when families are ready to be collected from will now be purple if it is a complete family that can be leveled up. There are also firework animations around families that have been leveled up.
  • New 'Village Score' feature
    • Your village score increases as you level up animal families. It's a total - the combined level of all of your animals.
    • As you reach certain benchmarks, you unlock new village avatars to reflect that achievement.
  • New feature - XP Boost
    • Gameloft's description: "a reward that appears occasionally to help you complete a level. It gives you a percentage bonus to the XP you collect. It only lasts for one level, with a chance to get a new one every time you level up."

    • 48 more Land Expansions (that doubles the size of your village!)
    • Village status has disappeared along with % income increase that comes with it. Instead they now have a "VIP" level. The more acorns you purchase with real money, the higher VIP level you have, the more benefits you get. You must be at least level 13 to access VIP benefits, but any acorns you purchase before you reach that level will still count towards your VIP level.
      • Benefits: VIP members get access to a special VIP section of the Shop (with special items available only to VIP members). By increasing VIP level, you can gain benefits such as (1) extra rewards upon leveling up, (2) extra coins and experience from missions, animal families, and fun stuff, (3) shorter collection timers, (4) discounts on habitat customization and animal family members, (5) increased decoration bonuses, (6) increased daily rewards. And potentially many more.
      • Starting level - "Copper": gives 5% more coins for animals and fun buildings, 5% more experience for animals, 25% more from daily rewards, and 15% more coins for leveling up.
    • Before, decorations affected anything in a 3 to 4 square radius. Now the decoration has to touch an animal or fun building in order to increase it's take. Entire value of your village will decrease tremendously from this. The percentage of increase that many decorations provide has also dropped.
    • New Limited Holiday Kits: Pumpkin Carving and Jungle Gym.
    • New Dino World Animals: Gigantosaurus, Allosaurus.
    • Max Level increased to 110.
    • Players gifted with 5 Collect Frenzy tokens.
